The biennial LEGNO&EDILIZIA fair organized by Piemmeti SpA will take place in Verona from 19 to 22 February 2015. It is launching a competition entitled THE TREE HOUSE for fun creations inspired by the natural qualities of wood. The goal is to put together an idea and a rough design for an integrated, practical children’s play area that embraces the natural marvels of trees. It must do so in an original way and help to conserve the plant that plays host to the distinctive recreational setting.
The competition is for high school and university students from any course. It is hoped that they will come up with a range of innovative proposals to realize the dream of every child and many adults: the opportunity to play, reflect, relax and perhaps enjoy the luxury of some time to ourselves in complete safety amid the greenery three metres above the ground, without causing problems or suffering for the tree supporting us.
The initiative has been backed by the technical event promoter Piemmeti SpA in partnership with Arca (a wooden building quality and sustainability certification and training organization) and PERCORSI-LEGNO (a training organization).
